The AAIFF organizing team is made up of four staff members and a small group of interns and volunteers who love Asian American independent film and believe in the importance of this event in New York City. Interns must be able to attend weekly meetings every Tuesday at the Made in NY Media Center By IFP in the DUMBO neighborhood in Brooklyn. In addition to that, we do about 5-10 hours of work per week from home, more when we get close to festival time.

Here’s how to apply:

AAIFF is supported in large part by a powerhouse of volunteers – students and professionals – who generously give their time and energy during the festival. This year’s 10-day event will be taking place at various venues in Manhattan and Queens, July 23 – August 1, 2015.
