In a waiting room, a man hears his name called out. This coming-of-age drama features a gay man’s infatuation with a straight actor. Eventually, he enrolls in his crush’s acting classes where his true feelings can pass as a convincing performance. When he receives a scary potential diagnosis, his life begins to take a turn.

Tao is a bilingual(Mandarin, English)filmmaker who is originally from China, currently studying Master of Film and Television(Narrative) at the prestigious film school of Victorian College of the Arts, The University of Melbourne. Tao has written, directed and produced several shorts when he was working in Chinese film industry and some of them won the awards in the University’s film festivals. Tao has recently finished his internship at Channel 31, Melbourne. Tao has diverse interests of working in different areas in this creative industry including feature films, TV drama, Fine Arts, theatre, music video and TVCs. But Tao mainly focuses on making feature films. “The 3651st Day”, which is a short film that Tao produced last year, had been selected by Melbourne Queer film festival and some other queer film festivals in Australia and Europe.
