2017 Asian American International Film Festival | New York City

ABOUT

The Asian American International Film Festival (AAIFF), presented by Asian CineVision, is the first and longest running festival in the country devoted to films by and about Asians and Asian Americans.

The 40th annual festival will take place in New York City from July 25 to August 5th, 2017. Screenings will be held at Cinema Village East (181-189 2nd Avenue), Asia Society (725 Park Avenue), and Flushing Town Hall (13735 Northern Boulevard, Flushing).

John Woo  is a Producer, Designer and Executive Director for Asian CineVision, the New York based not-for-profit media arts organization, presenter of the Asian American International Film Festival (AAIFF).

 

Judy Lei

Judy Lei is an actor/writer who has been with Asian CineVision since 2009. She studies acting at The Barrow Group Theatre and improv at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Her one woman show, The World’s Greatest – directed by MC Jin, had a sold-out run in NYC last August and traveled to LA this April.

Haisong is the Program Manager for Asian CineVision and the programmer for AAIFF16 short and feature films. Haisong also serves on the screening committee of the Brooklyn Film Festival and the Silk Screen Film Festival (Pittsburgh, PA).
