Kayla Wong is a Seattle-native with a great resistance to coffee and a weak-spot for buttered toast and oldies. She’s an alumna of NYU’s Kanbar Institute of Film & Television, with minors in East Asian Studies and Entertainment Business. Currently splitting her time between living the glamorous lifestyle of an NYC Production Assistant, and producing fun/inspiring/culturally-aware content for her company, 8-Player Pictures, LLC.

Filmmaker’s statement: This film is for the children of immigrants, and the young women who’re tired of being told what to do with their futures, and the parents who sacrificed  it all for “The Dream.”
