Description

Q&A to follow with filmmakers

CHOLLYWOOD is a behind the scenes look into the world of film making in China and how first time director, Dan, deals with being thrown headfirst onto his own film set. Dan quickly realizes that making the film itself is not his biggest obstacle; it’s his Golden Fish Award–winning leading man, Huang Zilei, and his internet famous pop star female lead, Ling. Dan went into film with the purest of intentions, to make art. Little did he know, however, that the world behind the camera has its own special set of rules. This is the world of movie making in China. Welcome to Chollywood.
