Hei, I'm Home

Hei, I'm Home

Directed By Lo Lam

Hong Kong | Music Video | 12 min

HEI, I’M HOME follows a singer named Hei whose psychological journey begins when “Uncle,” his estranged father’s gay partner, reaches out and asks him to donate part of his liver to his father.

Through bitter reminiscence with the relentlessly optimistic Uncle and a couple of surreal fantasy musical sequences, Hei rediscovers his love for his father and explores his inner struggles with the notions of sacrifice, filial piety, forgiveness, and the meaning of life.
