While her mom is out on a date, Cass invites her crush, Jeff, over to her house to hook up. When Jeff asks if he needs to take off his shoes, Cass tries to act casual and says it doesn’t matter. But through a messy series of events, she will learn that some rules aren’t meant to be broken.

        Kai Sampadian


      Aimee Pham is an Asian American filmmaker based in Los Angeles. As the child of Vietnamese immigrants, Aimee is passionate about telling stories that are daring, vulnerable, and explore the nuances of the Asian American experience. Aimee currently works at Local Time, Lulu Wang's production company, and has previously worked at A24, 2AM, and TeaTime Pictures, where she has gained experience in production and development. Kai Sampadian is an Asian American and Armenian filmmaker based in Los Angeles. Born in Japan, raised in San Diego, and brought up as a military child, Kai was exposed to an array of different cultures and communities. Kai hopes to further push the envelope in telling fresh and compelling stories through the perspective of characters that look like him and his community. Kai currently works in development at Wayfarer Studios, and has previously worked at FX, Annapurna, and CAA.
