Under the pressure of her husband and mother-in-law, a housewife named Julie goes to an abortion center. As Julie struggles with the abortion and thinks about her marriage, she meets a young woman, Evelyn, at the clinic, with whom she has a heartfelt conversation. In the end, Julie makes an unexpected decision.

      Born in Chongqing, China, Jiaxun Gao is a film director whose passion for storytelling and visual arts was evident from an early age. She majored in film studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), where her creative abilities flourished and she discovered her true calling in the realm of filmmaking. Determined to hone her skills and broaden her horizons, Jiaxun went on to pursue a Master of Fine Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University.
