This poetic film relates the transfer of shamanic and bodily power from one woman to another. The film draws its inspiration from Central Asian societies, where the culture of shamanism is dying out and where dance and body expression remain marginalized.

Originally from Kazakhstan, Dana Mussa is a dancer, choreographer, and film director who has made numerous short films. She attended the Cannes Film Festival in 2011 with her “Danse du Tribu Sakae.” In 2020, she produced the dance film, KIELI BI, with Alexander Murphy. The film was selected for many festivals, including the Dance on Camera Festival and the Inshadow Film Festival. Alexander Murphy is a self-educated Franco-Irish filmmaker who began working on short film projects at the age of 16. He began his career as a cameraman and editor on cultural film projects. In 2016, his production company began to work on art-related projects; he has collaborated with art patrons, curators, and art galleries on numerous video art projects. He joined forces with F. Sanguinetti and worked for the Paris Opera. In 2020, he directed the film KIELI Bi with Dana Mussa.
