      David Shen Miller is a Chinese-Jewish American filmmaker whose passion for storytelling began in high school. His works examine themes of identity and desire, self-delusion and disillusion, and human paradoxes through the struggles of his characters. His comedic short film, THE SOLIPSIST AWARDS, was accepted into several festivals and won the Best Shorts competition. THE COCOON is his latest passion project and marks his animation debut.
