      From Richmond, British Columbia, Jamie Lam is an emerging filmmaker of Hong Kong descent. Her latest short, THE MESS WE’RE IN, has screened at film festivals such as TIFF Next Wave Film Festival, the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY), and the Vancouver Asian Film Festival. Jamie's work aims to explore the nuances in how human connection is pursued, built, and undone.
