During his weekend leave from the military, Hai goes home to help out at the family deer farm. The humid air, the smell of grass and blood mix with his memories. The deer that once cured Hai’s childhood illness is sent away. How will Hai deal with the past and the future?

      An Chu is a graduate of the M.F.A. Film program at Columbia University. His thesis film, TUO TUO, won the Best Student Award at the Kaohsiung Film Festival. Since graduation, he has committed himself to documenting Taiwan's antler culture.
