ALMOST HOME

It is night, and a man boards a bus looking lonely and tired of this world. Over the course of several rides, he gets to know a woman who is reading the book Tender Is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald. After he reads the book himself, he dreams of them swimming in a pool of water. When he awakes and takes the bus that night, she is late. Will she come? The final scene shows them disembarking from the bus (where they met to start their new lives together) as they reflect on how your life can completely change at any time: with the next book you read, the next song you listen to, the next time you sit down on a bus.
