BUNNY TO THE MOON (TSUKI E USAGI) is a 2D traditionally animated short film adapted from a Japanese folktale of self-sacrifice and turned into one of self-care. It follows the story of an extraterrestrial bunny from the moon who meets a young girl, Aurora, and how she helps him get home. Throughout that journey, we see Aurora slowly realize that choosing herself over a loved one is much more necessary, even if it means having to be alone.

The film is animated in ToonBoom Harmony and uses After Effects for the final composite to achieve a storybook-esque look.
