      Andrea A. Walter (she/they) is a British Filipino writer, director, and cinematographer, residing in LA. They graduated with a BA in Film from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, studying cinematography. Andrea wrote, directed, and shot their first feature film, Empty by Design (2019), in their hometown of Manila. Andrea’s work can be seen on Netflix, Hulu, and Twitch, as well as premiered at notable film festivals such as SXSW, CAAMFest, LAAPFF, and HIFF. Most recently their script, Syncopation, was chosen for the Stowe Story Narrative Labs 2023.
