Jessica is a Chinese-American high schooler studying for a chemistry test late at night. Faced with the immense pressure of perfection, she turns to pills to enhance her study performance. Her actions threaten to jeopardize her relationships with her friends while exploring her tumultuous relationship with her mother.

Chris Zou
Chris Zou is a Chinese-American filmmaker and writer based in New Jersey. He has produced and directed several short films that have won "Best Overall Film" at the Count Basie Film Festival and "Best Drama" at the Garden State Film Festival. He is studying at Brown University and aims to push the boundaries of Asian-American film, particularly among his generation.
