THE STRANGER begins with Jackie, who wakes up unable to recognize her boyfriend, Ray, the person that she can always rely on to provide a sense of safety through consistency in an ever-changing world. She makes an effort to overcome his new appearance but when more changes are introduced, will she still be able to love and accept him for who he is?

      Lau Tin Pak is an award-winning Cantonese-Canadian film director, screenwriter and producer. Born in British Hong Kong, Tin Pak immigrated to Vancouver, Canada, with his family when he was a child. As a youth, Tin Pak was frequently taken to the cinema, where he discovered his love for movies and filmmaking.
