      Minkyu Kang is a filmmaker based in LA and South Korea, currently developing a feature script with a Korean production company. He received his BA in Film and TV Production at USC in 2012 and an MFA in film at Columbia University in 2022. After 2 years of military service in South Korea, he worked in the local film and advertising industry. His short films, TV commercials, documentaries, and art videos have been selected and screened at 50+ international film festivals. Minkyu's most recent short, Children of Light, won the Grand Prize at the 28th DGA Student Awards and the Focus Features Awards.
