Lena is a Korean-American chef who specializes in Western cuisine and has recently been awarded a Michelin Star. Although she was born in South Korea and moved to the States when she was three, Lena has no connection with her Korean origin nor does she know how to speak Korean. Lena’s friend, Chaeyeon, asks Lena to cook for her terminally ill grandmother, Mrs. Jeong. Though the two have a sour introduction, Lena learns to cook Korean food for the first time and appreciate her South Korean culture, as Mrs. Jeong slowly runs out of time.
